Zac Lonergan

Operations Manager

Zac Lonergan is a native of Jacksonville, Illinois and joined Schmittgens Injury Law Firm as Operations Manager in March 2025. Prior to joining Schmittgens Injury Law Firm, Zac worked at a large personal injury law firm in St. Louis.

Zac graduated from Jacksonville High School in 2015. Zac then enrolled at Quincy University where he was a member of the football team. Zac graduated Quincy University in 2019 with a degree in Sports Management.

Zac has taken the skills learned at his prior firm and applies them to the daily operations of the Schmittgens Injury Law Firm. Zac enjoys the personal connections he makes with his clients and the more individualized approach the firm takes for each individual client.

As a former athlete, Zac understands the value of hardwork, communication, and diligence. Zac applies the lessons learned on the football field to his professional obligations to the firm and its clients. Zac is well respected for his infectious energy, team-first mindset, and organizational skills. Zac works closely with Rob investigating claims, coordinating medical care, and resolving pre-litigation claims in an efficient manner.

Outside of the office, Zac spends time with his dog, Charlie, playing golf, hunting back home in Jacksonville, and cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals, Blues, and Chicago Bears.
